Perhaps one of the most cringe things regarding all of the alien discourse is the oft-repeated mention of the fact that, “oh, well, I maybe would believe that the alien thing was true, but what are the chances that it’s humanoid-looking? 😏”
“What are the chances that it actually has bodies that are similar to ours?”
And I think that is one of the stupidest lines of thought you could ever possibly go towards with this.
In fact, I would argue that if there is some sort of intelligent life, it almost certainly would constantly and universally become humanoid-looking. I think that is kind of obvious. And that is not even a good point, to be honest.
Here is a better point: why would it not look like what everyone has been reporting, what aliens have looked like for the past thousand-plus years? I mean, it just does not make any sense. There are so many people who seem to really want to believe in aliens, but not if they are anything like the aliens that people have been describing in abductions for the past 100, 200, 300, 400 whatever years. It just does not make any sense.
Imagine this. Imagine people are like, “You know, we found this big-ass monkey. We found this big-ass monkey in the Appalachian Mountains, and it’s like 10 feet tall. And some people are saying it’s a Bigfoot, but what are the odds that it looks exactly like Bigfoot? Frankly, I think if Bigfoot existed, it would actually look completely different. It would probably look like a fucking lobster or something, you know?”
It is just stupid. It is so stupid. There are so many avenues to go down to try and debunk the little cringe Mexican alien, and you choose “Heh well I THINK if it WAS REAL it would look like a horror beyond my comprehension hehe and not what people have been saying aliens look like since time immemorial.”
Shut up.
